Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Managing, Handling and Disposing

Employees are expected to wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), such as masks and gloves and some may require safety glasses while working, to prevent and reduce the spread of COVID19.

It’s been about two decades that wearing gloves, hairnets and facial hair coverings been commonly used for food safety, as well as wearing face masks or coverings in fresh processing.

Many Companies are requiring their employees to take on-site Covid testing before they enter their building/workspace, which makes medical waste disposal necessary for collecting and disposing of used PPE and testing materials.
